Folders provide a flexible organization system for categorizing and structuring projects within a Space. You can create nested folders as deep as needed to establish a hierarchy that matches your workflow. While Spaces separate broad categories of work, like teams or clients, folders help organize the day-to-day projects within those Spaces.

Create and manage folders

1. Open the desired Space

2. Navigate to Projects

3. Click "New Folder" in the top right

4. Enter a name for your folder

5. Click “Create”

Create a project inside a folder

1. Navigate to the folder where you want to create the project

2. Click the "New Project" button

3. Select the Space

4. Choose the destination folder from the dropdown

5. Complete project creation

Alternative method:

1. Click "New Project" from anywhere in the Projects view

2. Select the appropriate space

3. Choose the destination folder from the folder dropdown menu

4. Complete the project creation process

Move projects between folders

1. Hover over the project you want to move

2. Click the move icon that appears

3. Select the destination folder from the dropdown menu

4. Click "Done" to confirm the move

• Think strategically about your folder structure before creating numerous folders. Consider organizing by campaign, timeline, or project type

• Remember that a no-folder organization system is perfectly acceptable and defaults to showing the most recent projects first

• Use consistent naming conventions for folders to make navigation intuitive for your team

What's the difference between a Space and a Folder?

A Space represents a broad category of work, like a team, department, or client. Folders organize the day-to-day work happening inside projects within that Space. For example, you might have a Marketing Space with folders for specific campaigns like "Black Friday" or "Product Launch."

Can I nest folders inside other folders?

Yes, you can nest folders infinitely deep, creating subfolders within folders to build whatever organizational structure you need.

What can I put inside folders?

Only projects can be placed inside folders. Other assets like Templates, Voices, and Knowledge are organized at the Space level, not within folders.
