Train Templates with Feedback

Edited

Feedback helps you iteratively improve templates by providing instructions on drafted content. This guide will teach you how to train the system over time using Feedback to align with your preferences.

Descriptions

Feedback is a powerful feature in Orbit Flows that allows you to repeatedly improve content creation by providing specific guidance on drafted outputs. When you provide Feedback on drafts, the system remembers and applies these learnings to future content generated using the same template.

How To

You can provide Feedback on any drafts in two ways:

  1. In a Flow:

  • During the "Choose Drafts" step, click "Revise with Feedback" at the bottom

  • Enter your feedback

  • Click "Apply" to generate new drafts incorporating your feedback

  1. In a Project:

  • After generating drafts in the drafting engine panel

  • Click "Revise with Feedback"

  • Enter your feedback

  • Click "Apply" to get fresh drafts

View and Edit Feedback History

To review Feedback history for a template:

  1. Open the template

  2. Navigate to the Feedback page

  3. View all previous Feedback

  4. Delete individual Feedback items if needed

Tips for Effective Feedback

  • Be specific and actionable: Instead of "make it longer," say "content should be 350-400 words"

  • Focus on principles: Explain the fundamental rules and goals behind your feedback

  • Provide context: Include clear reasoning that can be applied to future content

  • Iterate as needed: Feel free to provide multiple rounds of Feedback to refine the output

  • Use frequently: The "Revise with Feedback" button is there to help you shape better content

FAQ

What should I do if I notice my Feedback isn't being applied correctly?

If you notice that your feedback isn't being implemented as expected, try breaking down your instructions into more specific, actionable items. For example, instead of broad feedback like "improve the tone," specify exactly what you're looking for: "Use a more professional tone by avoiding casual language and incorporating industry-specific terminology."

What if I change my mind about the Feedback I gave?

You can review your template's Feedback history to ensure there aren't any conflicting instructions from previous sessions. If needed, delete any outdated feedback items that don’t apply anymore. Remember that you can always provide additional rounds of Feedback to clarify your requirements and help Flows better understand your expectations.
